These are manual restart techniques and do not address the underlying issue.

I'm not sure if this helps but I had this issue after installing windows 8 pro x64 from a fresh install. These are the steps I tried. I"m using a Netgear WNA I had this error and the wireless would drop and reconnect every 30 minutes or so. In reply to QuestionBoy's post on April 9, I'm having this problem as well, still trying to find a solution, however a short term fix is to remove the wireless card from device manager and then run a scan for new hardware.

In my instance, it reinstates the wireless card and it continues to work for about a week or two before dying again. Rinse and repeat. Hope it helps, and sorry for the thread necro.
